Digication digital portfolios are now integrated in ASU Blackboard. This integration makes it possible for teachers to make digital portfolios a tool link in a Blackboard course. This new integration also allows for a seemless transmission between Digicaiton and Blackboard.

Once you have appropiately set this integration up (step by step directions located here), you will click on the Digication tool link in Blackboard and it will allow you and your students to complete all neccessary work in Digication. Click here for step by step instructions. Additionally, there is a new Digication help module inside Blackboard. The help module can be added as both a menu item on the left hand side navigation or as a content item inside a module where you can sequence the student experience. Click here for step by step instructions.

Digication courses have a number of course-management features similar to Blackboard courses, and while it's somewhat possible to use Digication as a full Blackboard-style learning management system if you want, it's difficult and we don't recommend it. (Blackboard is better at tasks like grade collection and discussion forums; we recommend that faculty who want both functions use both programs.) Rather, Digication courses are a way to streamline your work with students' digital portfolio, putting them all together in one place.
