Welcome to my teaching portfolio. I am a fifth-year doctoral candidate in Rhetoric, Composition, and Linguistics in the Department of English at Arizona State University. I have taught a variety of academic and professional writing courses at ASU. I also served as the Assistant Director of ASU Writing Programs for the 2011-2012 and 2013-2014 academic years. I was the vice president of The Rhetoric Society@ASU in 2012-2012 and president in 2013-2014.
I research the connections between visuality and audience in ancient Greek rhetoric.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (with a minor in Writing) in 2006 and my Master of Arts in English Language and Literature with a concentration in rhetoric and composition in 2010 from Northwest Missouri State University.

I began my doctoral work at Arizona State University in the fall of 2010, and I anticipate defending my dissertation in the spring of 2015.
